Bill Clinton Rides Again

Bill Clinton sure doesn't sound like a Dem these days. Now, he stoops so low in racial and civic terms that I think we hardly knew him.

Following Mr. Clinton's snide, even racist insinuation concerning South Carolina, I thought he'd gone too far. But, now, he's gone so far as to question the patriotism of one who has given his life to public service.

While Bill Clinton and Hillary were buddying up to corporations, Barack Obama was serving the people. And Bill Clinton has the nerve to say the following:

"I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country," said Clinton, who was speaking to a group of veterans Friday in Charlotte, N.C. "And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics."

McPeak, a former chief of staff of the Air Force and currently a co-chair of Obama's presidential campaign, said that sounded like McCarthy.

McPeak is right. I'd add enough is enough. Bill Clinton has lost it. To paraphrase from Bill's own campaign slogan against George HW Bush, "It's (long past) time for him to go."
